Well, I think the point is this:

We understand that these were in good humor. Everyone takes pictures in a jovial manner, but that doesn't make them something they want everyone to see. I think your line between what you do with friends and what you do on here is a little too blurry. No one here gives a shit about those damned pictures, yet you posted a thread to share them. What you did wasn't a crime, but it certainly wasn't message board material. Sure we had fun taking them, and I don't regret doing so, but like I said, they're too esoteric for anyone else to think of with anything but disgust. Sorry.

but why do something in real life, and then all of the sudden feel ashamed of it on a message board?

I think its pretty weird if you do, unless you're like meeting up with people at a show or something, but that's different
