If they're gonna think of buying a new club they should get one on the Peninsula, or like Christian said reopen The Edge

I'm sad I will never have gotten to see a show at the Pound, but if they can keep bringing the same great gigs except now in hopefully a better location that I can access I will be stoked

The Edge is OK, but have they ever hosted metal gigs befor. Since their peak days, lots of new posh condos went up around. Wonder if the owners would mind the metal croud. They also do not have a large outdoor area like Pound has.

King Diamond played there in 2003 as well as many other metal bands. There is a nice bar -which it is like my second home- just in front of the venue. Besides it is a college area, and there is a lot of fucked up people in college -even at Stanford- some of them more fucked up than metal people
