Iron Maiden -- East Rutherford, NJ -- October 13th, 2006

Anyway.

Just got home from my first ever Maiden concert, and all I can say is Went with Overkiller, KillYourFace, and Div. Me and Ben (KillYourFace) met up at Brady's (Overkiller) college at around 2 and were like "Uhh, lets go." We got there at three, and we were one of the few people in the parking lot and we had 5 hours to kill. I knew that Golden_Goose was holding his regular IMBB meet up, so we walked around and looked for them, but they weren't there yet. We walked to Giants stadium to waste some time, and when we got back, G_G and AstroLaura and a few others were there setting up the grill. Through the hours, we just st there, eating hotdogs and hamburgers, chatting with each other and IMBBers. It was fun.

Around 7:30 we decided to go in, even though Mike (Div) was running late. I went in and got a shirt (AMOLAD album cover with tour dates on the back) while we waited for Mike, and he got there at like 7:15. We went up to our seats, which were seats right behind GA.

Lights go out, and unfortunately for my ears, Bullet for My Valentine take the stage. Ew.

They leave, Maiden is next. They take the stage, and I was "mad pumped" yo! They started off by playing all of AMOLAD, and I felt prety untr00, since I didn't know hardly any of the lyrics. But what made me feel even more untr00 was that there was (and pardon my language) some dumbass mother fucker who tapped on our shoulders and was like "Sit down, we cant see!" So, not wanting to start any shit, we sat. Then came Fear of the Dark, and we were like "Fuck those guys!" and stood up. Overall, I had a great time. First time seeing my all time favorite band, it was great.

Dude, FUCK that. I would've told them to fuck off. Shit, sometimes I don't blame Bruce for some of the stuff he says about American fans...

That's awesome though. Steve finally saw Maiden!!

During most of the show I was the ONLY person in my entire section standing up. I felt s0 tr00


I did, however, sit down briefly during Lord of Light & The Legacy because my right ankle was killing me.
