Necromance -- Bethlehem, PA -- May 27th, 2005

Well, I figured since I always do reviews of my band's current shows and I wasn't on this board for many of our first shows last year, I'd do reviews of them as for the one-year mark since them...

So, on May 27th, 2005 we did our 3rd official gig, at a very low-profile local venue in Bethlehem, PA called the Globe. No, not Shakespeare's Globe To be honest, when we were en route to the venue to load in our gear, we actually drove right past it and didn't even notice it. It's a very run down place, and not clearly marked at all. We'd never been there before, hell, we'd never even heard of it until we found out that we were getting on the bill.

Anyway, the gig itself:
We were the second band on... the stage was small... annoyingly small... in fact myself and our other guitarist spent the majority of the show off-stage right in the people's faces... All together, possibly the sloppiest show we've done to date... there were mistakes, the sound wasn't very good, etc... but as usual we got an overwhelming response even though we werent feeling too great about our performance. I still have the show on recording because my one friend brought a tape recorder... At times it's painful to listen to the tape, but it's also very great to hear how far we've come in just like 9 shows we've done since... We later returned to the same place this past January to do a special acoustic show... A band had asked us to headline their gig there, but we didn't have a drummer, so we came and did a bunch of acoustic tunes, and the night turned out to be a really special experience for us. Kind of made our history with the venue come full circle.

Set List:
1.Losing Faith
2.Wicker Man (Iron Maiden cover)
3.Blood and Tears
4.Necromance
5.I Want Out (Helloween cover)
6.Breaking the Chains
7.We Will Rise
