No Opening Act

Another excellent show from Queensryche depite the adversity. Pop's is not a good place to see a show. The acoustics were terrible, the stage was too small, and the sound during the first set was not very good. It started to even out towards the end of the first set and the Mindcrime set sounded much better. Overall, it was still a great show. Opening with "The Whisper" was great for the old school fans (I loved it), but a lot of people did not know it. I was surprised that they played "Last Time In Paris." Again, most people did not know that one but I thought it was cool. They stretched a few of the songs from Mindcrime, particularly "Electric Requiem" and "My Empty Room." The show started a half hour late, and the intermission was about 25 minutes long. "Hostage" was played through the PA at the end of the show accompanied by a video on the main screen.

Im jealous, though I heard they're gonna open for Priest, so I'll have another chance to see them.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure about the tracks other than OMC so that’s why I didn’t post the set. I was disappointed that they didn’t do Queen Of The Reich. I remember the first time I saw the video on Mtv when I was really fucking young. I don’t even think I was 5 or 6 yet.

Pretty uneventful first set, but nonetheless I am still sad I won't be seeing them this tour probably Thanks for the report Wrathchild

Yes, I think Queensryche/Priest would be an excellent tour! Halford/QR/Maiden was unbelievable!

No problem. I have been listening to Queensryche since '84. I had heard the EP and it blew me away. I got The Warning as soon as it came out. I think that the first set was really cool but not necessarily a "greatest hits" set. I love hearing some songs that they haven't played before but I know a lot of people did not know them. And I love hearing anything off of Rage For Order!

Don't know much about Queensryche anymore, but theyt sure should play ''Queen Of The Reich'' in every god damn show they do
