The following bands are not my top 5, but this is an idea that I have wanted to entertain for awhile...
Preface: Lars Ulrich dies in a car crash, and the worst thing ever to happen to heavy fucking metal is finally gone. James, Kirk, and Rob on the other hand, decide that they don't want to give up so easily ("Lars would want us to carry on." would be their excuse). So who do they get to replace Lars on drums? Vinnie Paul!! The guy fuckin deserves it if you ask me, plus he's 100 times the drummer Lars is. Plus it gives them an excuse to replace the lame Metallica songs in a setlist, with slightly superior Pantera ones (i.e. Fuel w/A New Level, Nothing Else Matters w/ Cemetary Gates, King Nothing w/Fucking Hostile, etc.) Incidentally, Dave calls up James and says "Listen I hated Lars guts, but if you need someone to talk to I'm here for you." Long story short, James and Dave bury the hatchet and GO ON FUCKING TOUR TOGETHER!! Wait it doesn't stop there. Dave and James decide to bring along a band that had alot of influence on them but never got the respect they deserve...  That's right bitches, Motorhead! Now Motorhead can't be the opening act, so they decide to bring in the only new metal act that is worth a fuck or two. MASTODON!!!! And as far as I'm concerned that's enough bands for me. Lord knows I can't last all day at an all-day festival. Setlists: This'll take some time, let me get back to you on this.
