Opeth -- Pittsburgh, PA -- February 18th, 2006
Show: Opeth/Dark Tranquillity/Devin Townsend Band
Date: 2/18/06 Venue: Mr. Small's Theatre, Millvale, PA (basically Pittsburgh) Source: Me. And a pen and paper. Time for more Opeth love. Looks like they did change up a few things already: Ghost of Perdition White Cluster The Amen Corner The Baying of the Hounds Closure Under the Weeping Moon The Grand Conjuration The Leper Affinity ---------------------- Deliverance Heavy Devy was fun too, as always, although Dev with DTB and Dev with SYL look like two different people onstage! And Dark Tranquillity got the crowd really fired up. I don't recall their entire set, but they did do a couple older ones. Fantastic sold-out show, it was, despite the COLD outside (when two Swedish bands and a Canadian one say it's cold, you know it really is). Mikael Akerfeldt banters with the crowd as well as any frontman I've seen. And the fact that he introduces every song made this extremely easy. |

I hope Devin and whoever fronts DT will, or I won't get ANY of their sets.

I know this is my third post in a row on this thread...shut up.
Anyhow, I don't know why Mikael is limiting himself to one Blackwater Park song. It's been either Drapery Falls or Leper Affinity. Why not both?
