Ratt -- Sayreville, NJ -- August 6th, 2009

Venue: Starland Ballroom

This was a great show right from the start. Surprisingly, the crowd was pretty young which was nice to see. I was expecting 80's rock and metal veterans to be there, which they were, but it was nice to see new fans too. I'm only 22, but I've loved this music since I was little. So I was jammin out hard!!

The first band was a local act called the Jersey Syndicate. Female fronted group. They weren't bad, but were absolutely no match for Ratt or Extreme.

Extreme went on first and played for about 70 minutes I'd say. Here's their set.

Decadence Dance
It ('s A Monster)
Rest In Peace
Am I Ever Gonna Change
Play With Me
More Than Words
Cupid's Dead
Take Us Alive
Hole Hearted
-Flight of the Bumble Bee- --> "He Man Woman Hater" tease. This was funny...Pat Badger grabbed Nuno's guitar and shut him up and went in to Get the Funk Out. Nuno was like "thats fucked up man". I thought it was funny.

Get The Funk Out
Wanna Be Startin' Something (Michael Jackson Cover)

GREAT SET!! Everyone loved them by the end of it. Then Ratt came on and the place blew up. Really solid show. I'm glad they have Carlos Cavazo on rhythm...good choice. It was cool to see Warren trade solos with a worthy opponent. Ok, so here was what they played.

Tell The World
I Want A Woman
Nobody Rides For Free
Lay It Down
You're In Love
Way Cool Jr.
Body Talk

Wanted Man
You're In Trouble
In Your Direction
She Wants Money
Lack Of Communication
Back For More
The Morning After
I'm Insane
Scene Of The Crime
Round And Round

I would have liked to see Round and Round played after You're In Trouble like it's supposed to be and then encore with something like You Think You're Tough or Sweet Cheater just to keep it how the album is...but whatever. Good show anyway!! Hope this helps whoever was looking for the setlist for that night.
