This.

Plus also, studios ALWAYS plan this far ahead with their movie releases. It's just unusual for them to actually make those plans known to the public. Don't forget, in 2009 they signed Samuel L. Jackson to a nine-movie deal, which still has three movies to go, so at that time they were already planning further ahead than we're talking about here.

All these "Iron men" and "Ant men", people are forgetting the only superhero and superhero team who ever mattered:

Actually four, he signed the contract after Iron Man 1.

I haven't liked most Marvel movies I've seen but my friend tells me the Captain America movies are the best. Should I check them out?

The first one is nothing special. I really like the sound of the direction they took with the second, but I haven't seen it yet.

Which ones have you seen?

I thought the first Captain America was great! It felt really different compared to other superhero movies. Still haven't seen Winter Solider, but planning on it, heard its amazing.

That's the only reason I entertain that first one. Because it's different. As a movie, it's not that great. It's a Bond movie with costumes.

Whereas I've heard the second one is even more different. More an action thriller than a comic book movie. I like the sound of that.

Iron Man 1 - liked it
Iron Man 2 - didn't like it
Thor - hated it

other superhero movies:

X-Men: First Class - liked it
Spider-Man 1 (Sam Raimi dir.) - Loved it
Spider-Man 2 (Sam Raimi dir.) - One of my favorite superhero movies
Watchmen - Loved it
Dark Knight Trilogy - Loved them all

I just usually don't like overly fantastical superhero movies. I like them when they at least try to stay a little bit grounded in reality, like Watchmen and The Dark Knight.
