Winger was pretty good, but disaster struck three songs in when a gust of wind blew the keyboard over. Before Rat Race, Kip discussed how the band writes songs (they base them around riffs) for a little while; I'm guessing it was to try and give the equipment guys enough time to fix whatever problems arose. Well, when they started Miles Away, the keyboard was really crackly and distorted, and the friggin' power even cut out for a few seconds! But they recovered and the rest of the show went off without any issues.

This was also my first time seeing Queensryche with Todd--fifth overall--and all I can say is HOLY SHIT THEY ARE BACK. This is a band rejuvenated and excited for the first time in ages. It was a decidedly old-school crowd that night, and they were singing along to everything. I was losing my damn mind with almost every song they played, especially at the beginning. All I can say after this show is:

No need to worry--Queensryche is in good hands. There can be only one.
10/13 - The Who
4/8 - David Gilmour
