Mayhem Fest 2014 -- San Bernardino, CA -- July 5th 2014

So Mayhem Fest 2014, I posted a dream setlist for this a few months back. I wasn't there but these are the setlists from setlists.fm. If anybody knows the other bands setlists please post if you like. Maybe throw in a review. I'm gonna go to the one in Jersey Aug 1st.

Avenged Sevenfold :

Shepherd of Fire
Nightmare
Bat Country
Hail to the King
Burn It Down
Buried Alive
Seize the Day
Critical Acclaim
Afterlife
This Means War
Encore:
A Little Piece of Heaven
Unholy Confessions

Korn :

Falling Away from Me
Twist
Got the Life
Love & Meth
Spike in My Veins
Hater
(Live premiere)
Get Up!
Shoots and Ladders
(with "Somebody Someone" snippet afterwards)
Coming Undone
Here to Stay
Never Never
Freak on a Leash
Blind

Asking Alexander :

Don't Pray for Me
Run Free
Break Down the Walls
Breathless
The Death of Me
Moving On
(live premiere)
Killing You

Trivium :

Down from the Sky
Built to Fall
Through Blood and Dirt and Bone
Strife
Dying in Your Arms
Anthem (We Are the Fire)
Capsizing the Sea
In Waves

Suicide Silence :

Revelations
Unanswered
No Pity for a Coward
Wake Up
Cease to Exist
Fuck Everything
You Can't Stop Me
You Only Live Once

Upon a Burning Body :

Red Razor Wrists
Intermission
Mimic
Texas Blood Money
Scars
Sin City

Veil of Maya :

Subject Zero
Punisher
Unbreakable
It's Not Safe to Swim Today

Mushroomhead :

Our Apologies
Sun Doesn't Rise
We Are The Truth
Solitaire/Unraveling
Empty Spaces
(Pink Floyd cover)
Born of Desire

I personally dont like Aveneged Sevenfold but i figured others might be interested, the same thing with Asking Alexandria, Trivium, and Upon a Burning Body. The Texas Hippie Coalition was up there but I hope no one gives an ass about them or their setlist.

If anyone knows Cannibal Corpse, Darkest Hours, Body Counts and Ill Nino's setlists please post them.

I wish Mushroomhead played "Kill Tomorrow" and "Qwerty", also im not a fan of "We are the Truth" and i dont think it would go over well live. "Our apologies" is probably a kick ass opener though.

Veil of Maya not opening or playing "20/200" into "Divide Paths" is a poor decision on their part.

Now Suicide Silence's set is pretty suhh-wheat but my least favorite song of theirs is "Wake up" and they play it so. It would of be better if they replaced it with "Disengage".

Korns set is pretty damn good and longer than i expected.

Well there ya go, just in case anyone gave a shit

I've never heard anything by Mushroomhead aside from Our Apologies. I actually really like the song so I don't understand all the hate. But I'm sure there's good reason.

That new KoRn song Hater is godawful though.

Cannibal Corpse: (incomplete, according to setlist fm)

scourge of iron
make them suffer
i cum blood
hammer smashed face
stripped, raped, and strangled

Looks pretty standard for the boys, I'd imagine at least one new song from the upcoming album in there as well. Anyone that has attended sat or yesterday get a look at Cannibal's merch selection?

This Mayhem looks so underwhelming on paper; so tired of Korn's predictable setlists, don't get Asking Alexandria, I like Trivium but I've seen them on a million package tours in the last 6 years, I just don't get how with all the talented bands out there you can't put together a better package than this. Being that I've attended a metal festival yearly (since Ozzfest 2000) I consider this to still be one of my traditions. This year it helped I got 2 free tickets from one of their sponsors

That Korn setlist is fucking terrible. I know they only get an hour and have to appeal to the people who don't know them that much since they aren't headlining, but still, it's pretty bad. Maybe it's because i've seen them 6 times already.

I agree; and it doesn't really make much sense to me as one of the headliners you figure a good % of the people are going for them as they are already fans so you could dig a little deeper into ur catalogue instead of get up, freak on a leash, and here to stay for the 1,920th time. Like you said it could be you've just heard them so many times, I've seen them 5-6 times since 99 and know there are plenty of songs I haven't heard in place of the staples.
