Kiss -- Irvine, CA -- July 5th, 2014

Got there towards the end of Kobra and the Lotus, caught maybe 2 songs from them.

Def Leppard was good. The bass was too high in the mix on some songs but overall they sounded good and got the crowd going.

Next up was Kiss, and they were solid throughout. Paul sounded better than last time and they were really awesome again. No encores for them, Paul commented that there was no sense in going offstage and making people wait.

The turnout was probably around 14k, capacity at this amphitheatre is 15k.

Not bad setlists. I am going to see them in Camden, Saratoga Springs, Toronto and Darien Lake (last minute decision, ha ha) in a few weeks.

Pretty much. At least I had a heads up that it was pulled.

I am curious, did you get to check the merch booths? I need a Leppard shirt and wanted to know if there are any cool Hysteria/Pyromania ones.

Didn't really look but I noticed they were all at least 40 bucks for Kiss and Leppard.

This is what is on their website for 2014 tour merch but I do not know if there are additional tour shirts as well. I am going to see them in a few weeks (4 times), looking forward to it. I like the Kiss set.

Thanks for the link! There's one or two ones that look pretty cool.

God Of Thunder is back and Christine Sixteen is out, that sucks. I like God Of Thunder, but I was really hoping to see more stuff I haven't seen.

Ahh, that's unfortunate. Christine Sixteen was one of the songs I was looking forward to most. If it's out of the set for the rest of the tour, I think I'll pass on getting a ticket.
