Alkaline Trio Performing All 8 Studio Albums Over 4 Nights Mini Tour

They said the albums won't be going in release order though. I plan on trying to go to at least one night of this though.

Chicago show is $36 a night.

I don't care about this band, but that is rad that they are playing all their albums. I wish more bands would do cool things like this.

This.

Coheed had the right idea doing it in the states and in the UK, allows fans from all over to try and catch some of it. If you're of a certain age as a band and have enough albums, this is a great way to honor playing deep cuts and celebrate your career with fans in style.

If Van Halen would do this with the 7 DLR albums & a night of lost rarities/covers/Me Wise Magic/Can't Get This Stuff No More, I could officially drop dead happy.

There needs to be some kind of law that forbids crappy bands from coming up with great ideas like this.

Almost forgot about that. Every Friday night of January in 2012, the Melvins played a $10 show in downtown LA at a divebar and played a different album all the way through.

Alkaline Trio is always doing cool shit in Chicago.

Also knowing 8 albums full of songs + the random stuff they'll play is hard ass work.

That being said I plan on trying to hit at least two of these shows and they'll sell out in a heartbeat.
