I was expecting more of an old set, but since this is my first time seeing them headline I can't complain too much. Plus they played Into Everlasting Fire.

I wish I could say the same. They were easily one of the worst bands that I saw at Scion Rock Fest in 2011. Their sound was just awful.

Oh haha. Maybe when they tour next time they will start putting some older stuff in their set to mix it a little more.

I hope so, they crushed at the Decibel show last year but only got seven songs and had a brand new album to promote, so...

One thing for sure; Majesty and Decay has to always get played.

I had to choose between them and Agalloch that night and although I do love Immolation, I had seen them probably 7 times before that and Agalloch just played a few months earlier at the Proud Bird, their first official trip to LA ever. Difficult decision but I chose Agalloch.

I heard the sound for Immolation wasn't very good that night. Most of the times I've seen them their sound is solid. Off nights happen.
