Kvelertak -- Brooklyn, NY -- May 14th, 2014

These guys always put on one hell of a show. Glad I got to see them do a headlining set. Seeing them open for another band, as great as it is, just doesn't have the same effect. It's like blue balls. You're so close, and just when you're almost there, everything stops, and it's time for the next band. And while Gojira and Mastodon are nothing to fold your arms and sit down to (well... maybe Mastodon on their last couple of tours), Kvelertak is an experience that has not, and can never be duplicated by any other band. Seriously. If you have the opportunity to see them headline, get on that shit, POST HASTE.

I kind of wish I had seen them when they headlined in Boston, but Rotten Sound was here that same day, and I knew Rotten Sound doesn't headline often.

Fuck man I would love to see them headline but they've only come through 3 times all in support slots.

When I saw them headline, they barely played over 40 minutes because the drummer's arm hurt. Shortly after that, he was temporarily replaced for the remainder of the tour while he went home for medical attention.
