For my home state of Michigan I guess the big one would be KISS, but I would personally say Repulsion.

From Texas: DRI or some other band that starts with a P and ends with an AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Mastodon doesn't like you either.

I thought Fozzy was the name of that retarded Muppet.

I guess I'd have to go with Macabre and Master or more recently, Cardiac Arrest and Bongripper.

If we were just talking hometowns and were including grind, then Charles Bronson and Weekend Nachos or more recently, Sick/Tired.

I got the impression that he couldn't think of any bands that could qualify, not that he couldn't choose between a lot that can.

I mean you got Armored Saint, Avenged Sevenfold, Cirith Ungol, Dokken, GNR, Metallica, The Crue, and the list goes on and on.

Trouble definitely has a spot, especially in terms of influence.

Holy shit Caspian is from Beverly? I've only heard of them in passing from you and a couple of other people on the forum, but I didn't know they were from Mass, let alone a city that's 15 minutes from me . Guess I'll have to check to them out now

I guess Rush too but they're not as metal. And I'm not even sure if they're from Toronto.
If it were me choosing, I'd go with either Sacrifice or Razor for Ontario. Anvil has more bad albums than good -- I can't say the same for those other two.

Rush is from Toronto -- Willowdale to be exact. I love them, but I wouldn't call them metal. Influential to metal, yes, but not metal.
