Oh come on! What's not to like about generic, pretentious tough-guy hardcore?

>Terror promoting equality, telling everyone to leave their attitudes at the door, to catch people as they stage-dive, to pick people up when they fall, proclaiming that hardcore is special in that it brings together disenfranchised people of all races, creeds, religions, etc. to celebrate music for a couple of hours
>tough guy hardcore

Terror are pretty much the farthest thing from tough guy hardcore.

Harm's Way, Xibalba, Acacia Strain = tough guy hardcore

Acacia Strain are deathcore, and Xibalba aren't purely hardcore.

Yeah, Terror basically preach about equality and whatnot, but then Scott turns around and degrades bands that he doesn't perceive to be "hardcore".
Scott can go fuck himself.

And no, I am not a TGI fan. Terror and Madball = tough-guy hardcore

I prefer bands like Integrity, All Out War, Downpresser, Glassjaw, Nails, Code Orange Kids and Iron Reagan when it comes to hardcore, personally.

Xibalba definitely have metal elements in their music.

Terror are the definition of generic tough guy hardcore.

I don't even understand how Iron Reagan being a hardcore band is even a question.

Dude Downpresser are old school tough guy hardcore lol. Trust me, I just saw them.

Iron Reagan at all lol.

Also are we technically classifying Glassjaw and Nails as hardcore?

I got into Terror right after "Always the Hard Way" was released, have seen them 4-5 times, but in the last few years I have slowly been losing interest in them due to Scott dissing bands like The Ghost Inside for not being true hardcore and then turning around and touring with bands such as Emmure is truly a head scratcher.
Meeting Scott was a really weird experience; my buddy and I were at the Starland Ballroom for a Terror/Hatebreed show probably 6 years ago and we caught Scott and two of the other guys in the band by the bar. My buddy said what's up to them and told them their set was killer and offered to buy them shots. They say thanks and sure to the shots, my buddy turns to me and goes "Jager?" to which Scott huffs "Fuck that, Jager is that white boy shit,"
