Yeah, Jeff's inbetween song banter was hilarious. Reminded me of Mikael.

Also, I don't know if you noticed this but I thought the sound for the show was complete shit up until Carcass and even then it was just a little bit better. The bass was so obnoxious throughout the entire night. That was almost all I could hear during Noisem's set. What'd you think?

I thought the sound for Maruta was fine, but then it went to shit for Noisem and half of Gorguts and TBDM.

Correct. They play the first minute or so of Ruptured in Purulence and go straight into Heartwork. Same format for the other medleys.

Carneous Cacoffiny might have been in the last medley, but in the video I found it looked like they stopped after Heartwork. At shows last year they were playing the whole song. I still hold out hope that they will one day play all of Ruptured in Purulence again.
Ok, kinda figured this was the case. I was actually mostly wondering about Carneous Cacoffiny, because both times I saw them in '08-09 they would do the intro of Ruptured into the entire song og of Heartwork, then do the outro of Carneous, but when I saw them in September they played all of Carneous. I'm hoping they do the whole song again, one of my faves!

At the Dallas show, they played No Love Lost and then a few songs later played the opening to NLL and went into another song. When they started, I was thinking "Didn't they already play that?" lol

Not sure if they've done that at other shows.

Edit:

Nevermind. I'm used to the Wake up and Smell the Carcass version of No Love Lost which has the into to Ruptured in Purulence at the beginning.

Heartwork was as far back as I went into their discography. Not really familiar with their earlier stuff.

All the bands were killer last night in Austin. The place was sold out and packed to the gills. I was up in the balcony for Gorguts and BDM, but on the floor at the beginning for Noisem and the end for the mighty Carcass. Some kids started moshing during Noisem's first song, so there was a pit for literally every song played by every band.

BDM played Raped in Hatred by Vines of Thorn, for those interested, so that is at least rotating into the setlist
