I witnessed this. My buddy also got up and did "Living La Vida Loca" on karoke, and got heckled by Johan and cheered by Burton Bell.

Also, there's no way for the bands to avoid meeting fans, unless they hole up in their rooms all day.

You know I'll forever be pissed and hate myself for never seeing Ronnie James live.

And this morning news about Oderus leaves me feeling sick. However, i'm thankful for having seen them a few times.

That makes me almost convinced to book this trip now.

I've passed on numerous shows or events that I've later regretted. I'd hate to regret not doing this when I'm really wanting to and have the means.

Do it. I have never had as much fun as I do on these cruises. And this one will be bigger and better than they ever have before. The experience cannot be justly put into words.

Think I'll book me and the Mrs today.

She's not into this style of metal, but she'll enjoy the experience.

She's also a cool ass wife who doesn't care if I look at skimply dressed women. The few that will be there I guess.

without trying to sound conceited I have gotten far more random action on the boat than at random shows in Atlanta. Vacation mode / metal mode kicks in and everyone parties. Now don't get me wrong, lots of people are more conservative, go to sleep at a decent time to catch the early shows and are generally more responsible...but a large percentage of us party our asses off the entire trip

True, but you haven't seen them on a boat with the awesome type of metalheads this brings! I saw Cannibal on it in 2012, and the late night pooldeck set is as close to a real life dethklok as I've ever seen. More so than the touring dethklok. Corpsegrinder was also the drunk est cruiser last year, did not change his shirt for 3 days nor sleep. But he was super friendly and approachable, awesome fucking dude.

January 22nd-26th 2015. The organizers chose to do thurs-mon this time so people can save money on airfare and hotels. Most people usually arrive a day or 2 early though because there are always pre cruise parties and shows. Last year we got Carcass headlining the official preparty 2 nights before then took chartered buses (some with strippers) from miami to ft lauderdale for Amon Amarth / Enslaved / Skeletonwitch. So 2 solid days of shows and partying before we even got on the boat
