Nope.

Though I'd love to see people get over how a band dresses. Deafheaven is a lot more brutal than half the bands touting corpse paint and inverted crosses as a part of their acts nowadays.

At the risk of more Rugrats memes, can anyone offer a legitimate reason for their Deafheaven hate? I get it, their fan base consists of hispters and they like rap. But none of that is constructive or logical in the least. It's cool if it isn't your thing; but I'm curious to get an actual music-based argument.

My bone-headed "I only listen to war metal" friends have actual reasons to not like Deafheaven, every other person I've heard has BS reasons that basically boil down to "because they're popular" or "I don't like the way they dress or the colors they use for their albums"

I like Deafheaven, but the songs can drag on and on.

Then they drag on longer.
