I actually love I Am Legend Wouldn't be amongst my all-time favorites, but I do think it's one of Will Smith's best movies.

I Am Legend was fine except for that stupid ending.

25.Iron Man

Released In 2008

When Iron Man came out, it took superhero movies to the next level. They couldn't have found a more perfect person for the role than Robert Downey, Jr. This is movie is just by far one of the best superhero movies of all-time. The action scenes were fantastic, the story is a great one that started the Avengers story line, and it is because of this movie that people stay until the end of the credits for every single movie that comes out to see the ending scene.

Favorite character: Tony Stark/Iron Man

Favorite quote:
[last lines]
Tony Stark: There's been speculation that I was involved in the events that occurred on the freeway and the rooftop...
Christine Everheart: I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, but do you honestly expect us to believe that that was a bodyguard in a suit that conveniently appeared, despite the fact that...
Tony Stark: I know that it's confusing. It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations, or insinuate that I'm a superhero.
Christine Everheart: I never said you were a superhero.
Tony Stark: Didn't?
Christine Everheart: Mmm-mmm.
Tony Stark: Well, good, because that would be outlandish and, uh, fantastic. I'm just not the hero type. Clearly. With this laundry list of character defects, all the mistakes I've made, largely public.
Rhodey: [whispers to Tony] Just stick to the cards, man.
Tony Stark: Yeah, okay.
Tony Stark: [holds up his notes and pauses] The truth is...
Tony Stark: [puts cards down] I am Iron Man.

Favorite scene: First battle with Mark I suit

Favorite song off soundtrack: Fireman

I still don't see what's so good about Iron Man. I thought the first one was just ok and the sequels were garbage.

First Iron Man was great. The second was so exponentially bad compared to the first one it was shocking. Haven't bothered with the film series since.

The Spider-Man movies were well enough done to make me happy that at least a few decent movies starring one of my favorite superheros of all time have been made, but none of them are anywhere near "best in class" movies in the superhero genre. Words like that should be reserved solely for "X-Men: First Class", any of the Christopher Nolan Batman films (in particular, "Dark Knight"), and maybe "The Avengers".

Also, not one of the films mentioned so far would be in my top thirty (or even fifty) of all time, except maybe ESB. However, I'll keep checking back to see if anything worth mentioning pops up. (Don't mean to be condescending, it just seems that our tastes are basically worlds apart.)

Well don't rule out the list just yet, it's still early on, hopefully you'll find stuff you like!

24.Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone (depending on where you live)

Released In 2001

Yes, another HP film already, but as I said most of the series is going to be featured in this list. The one that started it all, Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone did a bang up job of kicking the series off. After reading the book, I was very surprised to find it nearly identical to the movie (which is a good thing). This is a great movie that I've watched countless of times and will continue to watch for a long time.

Favorite character: Harry/Ron

Favorite quote:
Dumbledore: It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live.

Favorite scene: Giant chess board fight

Favorite song off soundtrack: Leaving Hogwarts
