The Sword -- Austin, TX -- February 13th, 2014

Missed O'Brother and Big Business, but the Sword crushed as they always do. Really nice to hear Fire Lances, Lament, Chronomancer 2 and Winter's Wolves since they didn't perform those tunes this past summer at Red 7.

Here's the set!

Acheron / Unearthing the Orb
The Veil of Isis
Freya
Fire Lances of the Ancient Hyperzephyrians
Cloak of Feathers
The Hidden Masters
Dying Earth
Tres Brujas
The Chronomancer II: Nemesis
How Heavy This Axe
Lament for the Aurochs
Apocryphon

Encore:
Maiden, Mother & Crone
Winter's Wolves

Fire Lances

They didn't play that when I saw them. They did play To Take The Black though which more than made up for it

I really like that they change their set up slightly show to show...keeps things interesting. Fire Lances ROCKED! They've been keeping that in the set. The crowd went fucking nuts for it.

That definitely makes up for it. To Take The Black is one of their best songs, in my opinion.

Agreed. The song is actually what exposed me to ASOIAF back when it came out.
