This hit me pretty hard. He's one of my favorite actors, and I can't think of a single movie that he didn't improve. I feel like watching The Master again; that's one of my favorite performances of his.

I'm less of a fan than most people. He could deliver a wordy, witty monologue as well as anybody, but I'm not sure I've ever seen him do anything else.

Every bit of this. Truly a shock and a significant loss to the world of film. There's no telling how many more great performances this cat had in him, and now we'll never know. Very sad.

Yup, this really sucks. He's one of my all-time favourites, and an integral part of my all-time favourite movie, The Big Lebowski. Such a talented guy, and another great talent claimed by fucking heroin.

Check out "The Master", "Doubt" or "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" and you won't be saying that. Hell, his portrayal of Truman Capote alone was so much deeper than just mere speechifying.
