I'm guessing "Sid of Slipknot" had some legal issues with his previous name
But gosh darn.... the late 90s/early 2000s want their bands back!

And yet w/ the 90s influx we still get... Battlecross. What's new? I'm loling at the logos. They're pretty sweet.

If this were closer I'd go to this for Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Battlecross, Psychostick, Powerman 5000, (hed)PE, and Nonpoint

"Mystery headliner on par with Powerman 5000 and Nonpoint"

Battlecross is from Michigan. They're gonna take any chance they get to play in Michigan. Besides, KSE is playing so they're not totally out of place.

And Dirt Fest hasn't had a decent line-up since like 2008. Amazing how bad the festival has gotten. Compare this year with 2008:

hey

here idea

instead of shitty "fests" with 50,000 local bands that can't move more than 20 tickets

how about

just touring bands

and a few locals

now

you don't have to start the fucking show at 1 PM

and

people will actually come

It's also the same day as Boris / SubRosa / Atlas Moth in Detroit..... so real tough decision.
