I only saw it because I knew my four-year-old son would love it, and he did.

It was by no means a good movie but I liked it better than the second one. I've only seen bits a peices of the third one.

We have half price Wednesdays and myself and a fellow film nerd wanted to see how bad it was. It exceeded our expectations for being bad. I didn't pay for the third one at all, and I vow to never see another one unless it s a press screening (I also wanted to review this and do an article on Michael Bay being a shit director).

Transformers 2 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's right up there with Jack & Jill and the Super Mario Bros. movie.

You guys all remember that the original Transformers movie was terrible too? Possibly worse than the Micheal Bay ones.

While I love the original Transformers film and the cartoon dearly, I think Michael Bay's terrible film-making with his movies has caused people to love the originals more.

I like Transformers 1 and 2. I enjoy the mindlessness of them, though they're not 'good' films by any stretch.

P.S. I love The Super Mario Bros. movie!

Revenge of the Fallen is a genre-defining masterpiece compared to Jack and Jill and Super Mario Bros.

You all really need to go out and watch the slasher film "Blood Reaper", and then come back here and say how terrible ANY of the Transformers movies are!

The original Transformers movie actually shaped me into the person I am today. I saw it in theaters when I was six years old. I can still remember when I got home I told my mom "i needed some time alone". I can remember getting on my bike and driving down the street, and I stopped about ten houses away and just stood there. I didn't cry, I just lamented. The images of Optimus Prime dying, Unicron eating that planet in the beginning, those unnamed robots getting fed to the sharkticons and the robots getting tossed into the melting pit inside Unicron at the end were something I'd never seen before. I wasn't even upset that all the others like Ironhide and Brawl had died. I'd just never seen that kind of destruction.

I was a happy young boy before I saw that movie. Afterwards, "life sucks".

So I ordered it on eBay last week and can't wait to show it to my son.

I had that movie on VHS and watched it almost religiously! When it got released on DVD I got it for my little brother.... but ended up keeping it for myself

Yeah it was amazing but the story was too tacked on and dragged on.
