Went and did a double feature that turned out to be a tearjerker depression trip.

First was Her - often funny and oddly raunchy film that has a over bearing sense of depression, sadness, and just general heartwrecking in mind. The movie had me and the 10 or so other people in the theater in tears.

Lone Survivor - phenomenal film. intense action scenes with cringe worthy realism. A few teary parts but the last 5 or so minutes at the end had a nearly packed theater (250 people or so) balling their eyes out. I've never seen so many grown men crying together and it was well deserved. I couldn't contain myself either as everyone left the theater with bloodshot eyes and tears running down their face.

I really want to see Her. I've heard nothing but great things about it.

It's so brilliant and true on multiple levels.

Her was a damn fine movie. Phoenix's performance alone made the movie.

Yep and Amy Adams with little makeup is sooo fucking hot!

Also Scarletts voice is sexy.

Update :

Watching Secret Life Of Walter Mitty - Turned out to be a really good film, had some great scenes and the second half of the film has so breathtaking moments with the world around him.

Ride Along - decent buddy cop film with tons of cliches

Jake Ryan Shadow Recruit : A hell of a lot better than expected, plus Keira Knightly is really fucking hot, but also the end is super fucking cliche

Saw Her again with the gf this time. Fucking loved it more the second time. Seriously this movie is so real in terms of the subject matter.

Kicked off my 2014 film viewing with Jack Ryan. It completely derives from better spy flicks like Mission Impossible, but thanks to the acting (Chris Pine and Kenneth Branaugh being the standouts) and an engaging story, it still gets the job done.

Basically just waiting for Nolan's Interstellar and THE RAID 2.

Get hyped.

Off the top of my head anything else (Robocop, Godzilla, Jupiter Ascending) I will basically wait for decent word of mouth, and even then probably just Netflix it eventually.

Jack Ryan was an enjoyable film I thought.
