The (top) ten albums I heard this year

I heard 10 albums (one of which is actually an EP), so they all made my top 10! I guarantee that I'm the only one with a certain new album by Dave and the boys in my top records of the year. Without further ado, the most bare bones best-of list you will see this year.

10. Megadeth - Super Collider

The title track is great for laughs and Dance in the Rain, Don't Turn Your Back, Off the Edge and Forget to Remember aren't offensively bad.

4/10

So how many of the 10 albums did you actually think were good?

Haha, you'll see as I unveil the rest. Most were pretty good. I'd only call my number 1 great though.

9. Lady Gaga - Artpop

Very disappointing release by my favorite pop artist. Most tracks are bland to bad. The only ones I really enjoy are Gypsy, Applause, Do What You Want, and Dope to a certain extent. I hope the next one is better.

8. Fleetwood Mac - Extended Play

It's good to have some new music from these guys and most of these tracks are pretty good. However, the production leaves something to be desired and there is too much Buckingham and not enough Nicks.

7.5/10

7. Rob Zombie - Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor

Some pretty good stuff here but also some pretty average stuff. Dead City Radio has to be one of the most annoying songs I heard all year while tracks like Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Rage (surprisingly) and Rock And Roll (In a Black Hole) are pretty awesome. The cover of We're An American Band is also one of my favorite songs of the year because it's just really fun and quite catchy.

7.75/10

Seriously. Why bother? You find a way to listen to Megadeth, Motorhead and anything Carrie Underwood or Lady Gaga puts out but you ignore tons of good music?

You go to a bunch of shows but never listen to the cd's those bands put out? To each his own, I'm just sayin'

Carry on. Can't wait to see if Motorhead is 1 or 2 this time. hahaha

Because life's too short to be listening to the new Megadeth album.
