There's a lot of Queensryche hate in this thread. Ehh, I saw this version last time they were here and they were amazing! One of the best shows of the 2012 for sure, and I can't wait for January 25th to see them again.

Yeah I haven't heard the new album (actually I've heard nothing past Empire...) but I also saw this version last March and enjoyed them. The only time I saw them prior was 2011 and thought this was better since I knew most of the songs.

That's the thing, it's not hate, it's just realism. Being a fan of a band doesn't mean being blind to their problems, or being irrationally biased.

I saw them this year too, and they were fantastic. I also like their album. I also like Tate's album (more, in fact), and will definitely see the Tate version when it eventually tours Europe.

I almost saw the Tate version in May but had to work, I did see him solo last year(with 2 or 3 of the guys now in QR) and it was a good show

Keeping in mind he did a solo show at a smaller venue months earlier(which the promotors fucked up royally, the band took a pay cut so it wouldn't get cancelled). So that clears that.

Also the Tate version seems to be getting bigger names supporting their version. Alice Cooper, Sevendust, Disturbed, etc.
I like Scorpions, but not their latest Unplugged stuff. But they were always bigger than Queensryche.

Queensryche should do a tour with Quiet Riot featuring Jizzy Pearl.

It would sell out bathrooms everywhere.
