I wish I could be excited for Down again. The evening with Down tour in 2007 was so perfect that their sets since have been lame.

I wish this tour would hit the Midwest. Love both Down and Orange Goblin. Seen OG open for Clutch last year, they kick ass live. They have a new album coming out in Oct. too.

Down always puts on a killer show. Their sets are a little too predictable though. I know NOLA is the fan favorite, but i'd like to see them throw in some more cuts from "Bustle" and Over the Under in their sets.

I'd like an offdate from any of these bands.

I hope Down, Orange Goblin and Bl'ast are ready to be blown off stage by King Parrot every night.

Guess I never really thought about that but yes that's a great point. That was also the last Down headline show I've seen as well.

This was the first set I got to see from Down. They are never going to come close to playing a show as awesome, so I just don't care enough to spend the money. I almost saw them in January 2013 because they were advertised to play a $5 show in Hollywood. I got a ticket right away because I figured that was worth it. The venue forced me to get a refund and told me they fucked up and the show was actually $30 and my tickets would not be honored. Fuck that.

I'm not a big fan of Down, but Orange Goblin, Bl'ast!, King Parrot...this is gonna be heavy as fuck. And there's a Spokane date...hallelujah!

Speaking of Bl'ast!, does anyone know who's playing drums with them now? I read that Joey Castillo had replaced Jason Bonham in California Breed.
