TWATTY listens to only butt rock, everyone gives him shit for not expanding.
TWATTY listens to Melo-Death Metal, everyone gives him shit for not listening to punk.

TWATTY, JUST GIVE UP AND LISTEN TO NEO CLASSICAL FOLK FROM CAMBODIA WITH CREOLE INFLUENCE.

I just realized how unfortunate of an acronym that is.

New Against Me! is damn fine stuff.

Here's the stuff I've heard this year in a very rough order:

Woods of Desolation-As the Stars
Nothing-Guilty of Everything
Alcest-Shelter
Neck Deep-Wishful Thinking
Against Me!-Transgender Dysphoria Blues
La Dispute-Rooms of the House
More than Life-What's Left of Me
Schoolboy Q-Oxymoron
Modern Baseball-You're Gonna Miss it All
Seahaven- Reverie Lagoon: Music For Escapism Only

That's funny because Cambodian Neo-Classical Folk with a Creole influence is actually my new favorite genre.

I dig almost anything neo-classical and folk related (that is the medieval type folk, not like Bob Dylan folk). I even love classical music like Beethoven, Bach, etc.

All this neo-classical talk made me think of this release from earlier this year:
Goatcraft - The Blasphemer
http://i-voidhangerrecords.bandcamp....the-blasphemer

It's a guy out of San Antonio I think, self described as 'necro-classical'.

Bob Dylan's first four albums are some of the best folk songs of all time. After that, goddamn he's boring.

The blue red onion sitting on the window seal
The friends with the rubber band hula hoop
no one could tell them.

The little big fish with the purple cigar
His life was just a bottle of whiskey away from the space cadet with the old guitar
Oh yes

I walked through the bucket of hay next to the little girls next door doctor office in the buffalo wild straw hat speedo gorilla

LOOK I CAN WRITE BOB DYLAN LYRICS!!!
