Me neither, checked it out on a whim when I read the headline. I mean, it's Mushroomhead, but it's got a good groove and the production is good so yeah, not a bad listen.

Misery Index is my current 'extreme' record of choice. Perfect length for the brutality and the technical stuff without over-staying it's welcome.

This. All of it x1000. Tombs made a ridiculous great album that hopefully a lot of people catch on too. I wasn't a huge fan of their breakthrough album "Path of Totality" but this is a massive step up. Relapse hasn't had a more extreme band that could appeal to a larger group of people like this since Baroness's Blue Record or hell maybe even since Mastodon's Leviathan.

Totally agreed. This will hopefully reach a ton of end of the year lists. An album like this hasn't deserved it in so very long.
