The first half of Killer Be Killed is alright, then it starts to suck.

Oh well.

Hey that's better than what you originally expected

I kinda agree, the first half is way better. But I love the whole thing.

New Triptykon was pretty awesome. It started out as just sounding like a continuation to their first album, but then got a different... was worried it'd just be a rehashed version of the debut... whew.

5. Chevelle - La Gargola
6. Bong Breaker- Mountain
7. The Wounded Kings - Consolamentum
8. Indian - From All Purity
Cool list. 4 of my Top 10 are in there. I'm guessing you'd really like the new Triptykon also. If it doesn't wind up in the Top 10 on here I'd be shocked. Then again great cd's in April do tend to drop off lists by January...

New FLOOR is absolutely killer, might be the best thing Brooks has done in a long time.

April Top 10:

1. EMA -The Future's Void
2. Triptykon - Melana Chasmata
3. St. Vincent - St. Vincent
4. Impetuous Ritual - Unholy Congregation of Hypocritical Ambivalence
5. Cormorant - Earth Diver
6. Thee Silver Mt. Zion- Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light On Everything!
7. Warpaint - Warpaint

Biggest disappointments include Cynic, Alcest, Pilgrim (definitely a band that works better live), and Grand Magus.

You liked The Oath that much? I'm finding it somewhat generic so far...and I'm a sucker for female-fronted stoner / doom.
