The band has been posting about this on Facebook nearly every day for months, but this is the first actual info I've seen about it. I'm really looking forward to it as well.

Also, here is my current list, short as it is:

1. Skull Fist - Chasing The Dream
2. Perpetratör - Thermonuclear Epiphany
3. Omnivore - Omnivore
4. Battery - Armed With Rage

Bast - Spectres

if Baroness/Mastodon made a black metal album. My favorite of 2014 so far.

If it hasn't been mentioned, Wolves in the Throne Room also recently announced the title of their upcoming album: "Celestite"

I do recall hearing that the guitars on the new Agalloch album are especially great and the songs are far more focused than the ones on Marrow of the Spirit. I honestly can't remember who told me that though, may have just been Aesop or Billy posting on Facebook or might have been a conversation I had with Justin Weis. Idk, either way I think this one will be a much, much better album than Marrow was, both sonically and musically. The specific combination of Billy Anderson and Justin Weis is one of the best a black metal band can get these days. As I've gotten to see in person, the two complement each other extremely well when it comes to going from Billy's mix to Justin's master.

The (top) ten albums I've listened to so far:

1. Skull Fist - Chasing the Dream
2. Ea - A etilla
3. Indian - From All Purity
4. Backtrack - Lost in Life
5. Against Me! - Transgender Dysphoria Blues
6. Mogwai - Rave Tapes
7. Woods of Desolation - As the Stars
8. Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra - Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light On Everything
9. Sleepy Sun - Maui Tears
10. Murmur - Murmur

Only thing I really didn't like was Murmur. Skull Fist, Ea and Indian are all really good. Everything else ranges from meh to pretty good.
