I only gave it one listen so far but it's a lot better than Versus and Unseen, for sure. I actually enjoyed The Dead Eye but Exit Wounds takes them back to the original sound. Probably the best release since rEVOLVEr though, for sure.

Exit Wounds is straight up Thrash and MDM. Definitely a loy thrashier than rEVOLVEr and much more like the first couple albums.

Just got the new In Flames. It is much like the new Darkest Hour. A Few songs that are clearly made for mainstream radio airplay, while the rest of it, continues on being heavy and the sound they've been doing for quite a while.

People will be butthurt regardless.

Can't wait until 9/9. I've read so many different things about this record but I'm really trying to stay neutral. I haven't heard a note yet. If it's soft so be it. If it sucks so be it. If it's good that's a bonus. If it's anything like the Passenger record from 2004...instant album of the year.
