Trivium -- Silver Spring, MD -- October 2nd, 2013

Full review

I think the setlists were the same as other dates. As you know Sylosis was unable to play (RV accident), and a local metal band Hydra Kyll filled in that slot. They were pretty good.

I didn't hear any of After the Burial for some reason. we were downstairs lounging. What I did hear in passing was forgettable

Devildriver IMO stole the show from Trivium. They just had so much energy

Something about Trivium this night didn't translate live that well/ This is odd because the other times I saw them they were really good. Still a nice set from them, but I felt I could have been crushed more

Hydra Kyll (7- 7:30)
?

Devildriver (9-9:47) (I think this is accuratethankssetlist.fm)
  • Ruthless
  • Hold Back the Day
  • Not All Who Wander Are Lost
  • Before the Hangman's Noose
  • Oath of the Abyss
  • The Appetite
  • I Could Care Less
  • Sail(AWOLNATION cover)
  • Head on to Heartache (Let Them Rot)
  • Dead to Rights
  • Clouds Over California
  • End of the Line
  • Meet the Wretched

Trivium (10:24- 11:30)
  • Divinity I
  • Throes of Perdition
  • Down from the Sky
  • Becoming the Dragon
  • Brave This Storm
  • Watch the World Burn
  • Strife
  • A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation
  • Kirisute Gomen
  • Shogun
  • Capsizing The Sea
  • In Waves
  • Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr

I though Hydra Kill was horrible. Sounded like they'd never played together.

Definitely agree that Devildriver had all the energy that night.
