November North American Tour With 65daysofstatic and The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die

Dear Friends - First and foremost we want to thank all of you deeply for the outpouring of support we have received over the last week regarding the tragic news of Chris’s death. Your support has done nothing short of sustain us through this impossible time and we will never be able to put into words what it has meant to our band. We love all of you like family, more than ever, forever.

We will be pressing on this autumn, continuing to develop new material, and hitting the road for two months straight with Chris in our hearts. If you haven’t already heard, we’ll be the sole support on HIM’s upcoming European/UK tour this October and we are really excited about it. It’s an unbelievable opportunity for our band and we need all the support we can get from our fans out there. We are also absurdly stoked to announce that we’ll be doing a co-headline tour of North America with 65daysofstatic this November. We’ll be swapping closing sets each night but playing an 80 minute, full-on set every night regardless, performing material from all 4 of our records and covering a lot of emotional ground up there. Tickets go on sale Friday so make sure to grab them as fast as humanly possible. The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die will be supporting the whole tour (except Canada) and we’ll hopefully have some new merch and a surprise for you as well involving some new music. But more on that in a few…

Damn, that would be cool, but I already have tickets to GWAR/Iron Reagan that night.

That's really weird that they're gonna be touring with HIM.

Road trip it to Cleveburg on 11/23, then. It's a Saturday night, so you have no excuse. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

My car wouldn't be able to make it or I'd heavily consider it.

I'll probably go although I'm not too familiar with 65daysofstatic. I think I'm getting close to 20 shows for the rest of the year.

A round trip ticket on Greyhound is only about $70 - my mother-in-law has done it several times in the past few years. She's a senior citizen and travels alone, and says she feels perfectly safe. It might sound like a lot of money, but you'll easily spend $50 to $60 on gas anyway, depending on the fuel efficiency of your ride, plus about $15 in tolls on the turnpikes, which is the only logical way to make the trip. Why not slap on your headphones and chill for a few hours and let somebody else do the driving?

Of course, this math only works for a solo trip. If you have buddies willing to share the gas money it pays to drive yourself.

It's doable. I looked at the Greyhound schedule and the only shitty thing is the earliest bus I could take gets in like an hour and a half before the show starts.
