Not sure if this is metal enough, but Neil "Spyder" Giraldo is a madman on guitar live!

The show was advertised to start at 2:15PM, but apparently there was such a long line to get it (ONE ticket scanner at the gate? WTF?) they started the show an hour late...

The anti-camera police were out in force - first time I've ever encountered that at this venue, so I assume it was "at the request of the artist" as they say. If that were the case, however, I found it odd that Pat and especially Neil were mugging it up for the people who did come up to take pictures near the stage! Security was getting off on the little power trip and being total douchebags about it too... I still managed to get about 85 shots anyway!

The venue is a really nice place to see a show on a summer afternoon... basically it's a knotty pine shed on the shores of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (I shit you not!). It's like being at summer camp!

Anyway, camera Nazis aside, the show was good - she still has a good voice, even if it's a little raspier than it was back in the day. Neil is awesome on the guitar too. and I have to say - he might just rival Paul Stanley for his pick throwing ability! I caught one to add to my collection!

All in all, I'd give it an 8.0 (6.0 if you factor in the dickish security)

No Shadows of the Night?!

I like that they tightened down with regard to cameras. I'm really sick of people more or less watching entire shows through their fucking phones.
