Snowboard on the Block Festival- Denver, CO

Snowboard On The Block is shutting down the streets of Denver, Colorado to throw the biggest season kickoff party snowboarding has seen with over 20 snowboard film premieres all in one day. The event will cover three city blocks by shutting down the streets, 5 parking lots and opening multiple venues in the area. Indoor and outdoor stages will feature some of the sickest bands from around the globe and some of Denver’s local favorites to keep the party going. Colorado’s core shops will be bringing one of the biggest sample sales the city has seen with some of the best gear out there. Snowboard On The Block will also bring you a skate demo, snowboard competition and photo gallery of some of the best shots in the industry. Come out to celebrate the arrival of our favorite time of year and bring together the amazing community snowboarding has created
The lineup for Snowboard on the Block, the 2013 North American Snowboard Film Festival has been released. Here's just some of the musical performances that will be at the festival this September 14, 2013 in Denver, Colorado.

Adolescents, Pentagram, Kadavar, Frontside Five, Havok, The Shrine, Black Acid Devil, Scorpion Child, Thee Dang Dangs, The Kinky Fingers, Dead Temple, The Munsens, BLKHRTS, Bloodhound, Dj Dtale, Low Gravity, S.O.M.F., Allout Helter, more coming soon
So I was listening to my hometown metal gods and I noticed this tour date in Denver

From what I gather it is a film festival about snowboarding with music and snowboarding contests (they choose an interesting time to have this has it will still be mid 80's in September so I'm guessing they are going to make their own snow)

The point is it's cheap ($15) and Havok is playing

10/29-King Diamond/Exodus
11/7-Machine Head
11/11-Blind Guardian
11/21-Trans-Siberian Orchestra
