KISS -- Uncasville, CT -- August 10th, 2013

This was my 10th time seeing KISS and it was the best performance yet, in my humble opinion.

Paul's voice sounded good. They seemed to be having a genuine good time onstage - lots of interplay between the guys.

Almost caught Gene doing a faceplant early on - he had gone up onto one of the side risers and was going back down the stairs to the main stage and his boot heel caught and he did a running/walking/arms flailing save...

The spider stage setup is pretty freaking awesome!

Nice to see Rock and Roll All Night back in it's rightful place as the closer!

Opener was Leogun from London. I actually liked them quite a bit - I'm going to have to check out their music.

1. Psycho Circus
2. Shout It Out Loud
3. Let Me Go, Rock 'N' Roll
4. I Love It Loud
5. Hell or Hallelujah
6. War Machine
7. Heaven's on Fire
8. Calling Dr. Love
9. Say Yeah
10. Shock Me / Outta This World / Guitar and Drum Solos
11. Bass Solo / God Of Thunder
12. Lick It Up
13. Love Gun
14. Black Diamond
15. Detroit Rock City
16. I Was Made for Lovin' You
17. Rock and Roll All Nite

This is the first year I've missed Kiss since they started regularly touring again. Just hasn't been my year. Uncle Ted was the same night as their show in New Hampshire (and about 75 bucks cheaper) and I couldn't find anyone to go with me yesterday. Couldn't swing the ticket & gas money on my own. Glad to hear it was a good show though.

Still wish they would come to Georgia, and it sucks that they are going back to the predictable Rock And Roll All Nite closer.I mean seriously, use something else, doesn't even have to be Black Diamond, something like Crazy, Crazy Nights, Detroit Rock City, or GGRARTY

But it works as a closer! You can't top it, imho...
