The Agonist -- Frederick, MD -- July 19th, 2013

Full Review

Went to see the Agonist and a bunch of opening bands. Some were better than others.

The Agonist was a bit disappointing. Probably the third time I've seen them, and each time was a bit disappointing. I dunno, I want to like them, and their new album sounds good, but live Alissa just... doesn't sound good. Their guitarists were really good tho. The last half of their set was the best. I dunno if I'd go see them headline again.

Area 52- a bit rough
March to Victory- solid, nice Death covers
Demiz- decent black metalish
Fallen martyr- I don't think their blend of emo vocals and heavy guitars works well
