Seriously, there's not one genre you hate?

How can you possibly say that? How can you know for certain that you'll never like a whole genre of music? You have absolutely no idea where your interests will lie in five years. That's incredibly stubborn, immature thinking. In five years you probably won't even listen to the same music you enjoy now; to think anything to the contrary is just short-sighted.

Nevertheless, it's still completely the wrong analogy.

It's also what the little shields over horses' eyes to stop them getting distracted are called.

Incorrect. A roundabout and a rotary are different.

Use that here and you'd probably get arrested.

Pretty sure you've made that one up. I've never heard anyone American refer to those as anything other than "water cooler".

And yet, a genre you weren't into, you now are.

Proof perfect that shutting yourself off to an entire genre just because you haven't heard anything in it you like yet is stupid.

Especially when there's some very good rap metal around.

Why's that?

And you clearly haven't conversed/met anyone from New England.

I don't like rap, you don't understand it just doesn't have any elements I like, none, EL ZIPPO.It's not like it is with a genre of metal or rock were it has elements I actually like, this is a genre that I am 99% sure will never grow on me.Mark my words, I will never listen to a rap song ever again on purpose.Call me dumb, call me stubborn, call me an idiot, but that is how it is.In 5 years if I don't listen to the music I listen to now and transfer to rap I will definitely let you know and you can insult me all you want (and I still won't care).
