At least he knew the term "tech death". It's better than people asking if you like "death metal" like AC/DC.

Yeah, they suck. And they're practically identical. Too lame.

Yeah, OK, really seeing what you all mean when you bitch about TM fees in the US:

Ticket Price $89.00 x 1
Service Fee $12.65 x 1
Order Processing Fee $5.05
Delivery via: International Will Call $2.50

What the fuck is the difference between a Service Fee and an Order Processing Fee? Just be fucking honest and call the Service Fee "Commission". We all know that's what it is.

For the last year most of the smaller shows I've gone to have been through some new company called Ticketfly. They're much more reasonable with all the service fees and shows have been quite a bit cheaper. Mind you, they don't do the bigger bands.

The only problem I have with them is they charge two or three dollars to send a ticket in the mail or you can print your own for free. I still collect my stubs so I'd prefer the authentic one. But I'm not paying for something that should be free. And the pages you print out can be modified and cut into what looks like an authentic ticket.

Ticketfly is great. For me though (might be different in the US) its only a dollar for them to mail a ticket.

I've used TicketWeb for one show and TicketMaster for one so far. In the case of the latter I tried TicketFly, but it just redirected to TicketMaster.
