for me says other wise. And I know you can find those albums online, but it sounded like he said that CD's that I would buy aren't rare at record stores. If he didn't mean it that way I apologize for my previous sentence.
Anyone who rules out an entire, varied industry because of one bad experience, is an idiot.

Physical products require availability. Duh.

What you're basically saying is, you got everything you ordered, but you're too impatient to wait for it. The fault is with you, not online retail.

You don't realize how lucky you are with online retail. In the early 1990s I had to order Black Sabbaths 'Paranoid' on CD BY MAIL! It took three months, was coming from oversea, I had no way to track it, had to pay by money order (which meant anyone could've opened the envelope and taken the money) and I never knew if it was even coming. But it did and it was worth it.

What I'm saying is it's so much easier, and faster, today. Christ, I've ordered stuff off Amazon, changed my mind ten minutes later, gone to cancel it and been unable to because they already shipped it!

And if you look under every title it'll say (for example) "ships in 1 to 2 days", "ships in 3 to 4 weeks". Everytime. They even taking mailing into account and on your order summary they'll tell you, within a few days, when it will be in your hands. So you can't blame Amazon for shipping it exactly when they told you they would.

People in this digital age are just too impatient.

Not to mention MP3s sound like ass compared to CD/LP.

Exactly, I am to impatient, and that is how I am with a lot of things, so I don't want to wait a long time when I can just buy it instantly.

I guarantee that if I played a 320Kbps or FLAC mp3 and a CD through the same (good) stereo, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference/

You should work on that.

Plus, Autorip now exists, so there's really no excuse for not buying real products anymore.

Yes I should, but until then I will remain impatient and try to get my music as fast as possible, I'm not anti-digital like you are.

I prefer physical media because I get a hard-to-explain sense of satisfaction from it, but since we're no longer living in a time period where 128kbps is effectively the max you can have a decent amount of music on your 20gb hard drive, the argument that CDs sound better is nonsense.
