Killswitch Engage - A Bid Farewell.

The song that single handedly not only got me into metal but fueled my passion for it.

Metallica - Ride the Lightning

No link needed. Some of the greatest work by two of the greatest riff-masters in metal history (Hetfield & Mustaine). I live for excellent thrash riffs, and this one has it in spades. It helps that the album that bears the same name jump-started my love of metal.
I love inside jokes, I'd love to be a part of one some day.

At this point, gun to my head, I'd say Avantasia - "The Scarecrow".
