Yes, the band emailed us all their planned setlist when they formed.

If so, I'm going to try going to the Montreal date.
apparently at orion (their first show under the name) they only played one new song, rest were kyuss. that could have just been because the album wasnt coming out for a while though.

id imagine they actually want people to come to their shows, so id think will continue to play plenty of kyuss.

Unless their new material is completely mind-blowing I think this band will always still play at least sixty to seventy five percent Kyuss material. Even if they release ten albums as Vista Chino. And I really have no problem with that.

Agreed. They definitely strike me as guys who can't let shit go.

I don't know if "letting go" is the issue. If I had some of those Kyuss songs in my repertoire I'd play them every night too.

And no matter their moniker they're always going to be the guys from Kyuss. So they have to play a lot of those songs.

But like I said, if the new stuff is so good that people want to hear it then maybe they can cut back on the Kyuss stuff. But I don't think they'll ever write better material than Kyuss. I really doubt they'll be around for long enough anyway, the guys all must be in their mid-forties by now.

Tickets are $34 (probably $45 after service charges) for Toronto and on sale Friday. I think I can manage to go to this one.

That's what I'm thinking. I mean, Green Machine, Thumb, pretty much all of Sky Valley... why WOULDN'T you play those songs?

Got my ticket to the Toronto show. It turns out when Ticketmaster shows you a ticket price now they've already included all the service fees, so it was thirty four dollars all-in. Not bad.

Jealous. Tickets are $50 here.

Considering attending. Just getting into Kyuss recently though.
