It would be great if they did that, but I think that chances of it happening are slim. Keep in mind that Kerry said he would be alright with Gary Holt playing with them forever, so I don't think this is going to stop the band.

I think my heart dropped to the floor when I heard the news. This sucks. One of the best moments I will hold dearly is when he came out and played the Encore at the Big 4 show.
