Stone Sour -- Nashville, TN -- April 24th, 2013

Hell or Highwater was the first band, and they were pretty bad. Not a terrible live band, but the music was not good.

In This Moment was next and they were solid, the new songs sounded good...but they are just a gimmick band.

Now it was time for Stone Sour, the venue holds around 1,500 and it was pretty full. Corey said he was really sick, but there was no way he was not going to play. They killed it, best I have seen them. The new songs sounded great. During the encore I was expecting a new song or Hesitate after they played Through Glass, and then Corey said they wanted to change it up and play something they had been working on. Said it was was first time they ever played it live. To everyones surprise it was Children of the Grave by Sabbath, awesome as hell. Here is a full setlist.

1.Gone Sovereign
2.Absolute Zero
3.Mission Statement
4.Hell & Consequences
5.Made of Scars
6.A Rumor of Skin
7.Reborn
8.Do Me a Favor
9.RU486
10.Say You'll Haunt Me
11.Nutshell (Alice in Chains cover) (First Verse & Chorus)
12.Bother
13.Through Glass
14.Children of the Grave (Black Sabbath cover)
15.Get Inside
16.30/30-150

Hell or Highwater:4/10
In This Moment:7/10
Stone Sour:9.5/10

*sigh* I remember when In This Moment showed promise...

The Children of the Grave cover sounds pretty cool, though.

Finishing with Children of the Grave, Get Inside, and 30/30-150 was awesome as hell.

Why does Stone Sour play Through Glass and Bother so much, those songs are soooo dull and boring.
