There was a rumor floating around a month ago that the films were based off the Legacy of the Force books, where Jacen Solo turns to the dark side.

Very pumped for this considering that cast. Stunning set of actors. The amount of money they must be paying the older actors is huge I'd say, Hamill completely resents Star Wars and will only do conventions for an astronomical fee and Harrison Ford hardly needs to ever act again.

Yeah, I was going to add in my response to Ravenheart that they were going to base the movies on the Legacy of the Force books BEFORE THEY SHAT ON THE ENTIRE EU LAST WEEKEND.

I really don't expect the old cast to be in it for more than the first 20 minutes.

In todays day and age its best to just not expect movie adaptions to follow video games/comic books/novels. Sure it would be AWESOME if they did more like that (SPiderman 3 involving Venom & Carnage or something) but there is only so much they can do, and I am sure they want to use their own creative force and come up with their own universe and storylines.

I'm expecting one to die. I'd say whoever cost the most, probably Han.

I can see that. Harrison Ford is pretty old now and doesn't need to ever work again anyways.

So, am I the only one that said "who?" when I read the names of the new cast members for the movie?

Nope, and I'm quite happy with that.

I don't care who's in it (lesser known the better, IMHO), I don't care what storyline they follow, I don't care if Jar Jar is in it or not, I just want a fun enjoyable and interesting Star Wars film that I can watch for years upon years!

As I've stated before, I didn't mind episodes I-III at all. I really enjoyed them, even II! Just gimme something entertaining and I'll like it
