Invisible Oranges, in association with BrooklynVegan and my forthcoming Noisey video show Heavy Dicks, are proud to present the first annual Invisible Oranges day party during SXSW 2013! IO & HD take over the indoor stage at the old Emo's at 6th & Red River aka The Jr on March 15, as part of the four days of two-stage BV parties at the venue.

The free show, running from noon until 6PM, will feature the following bands:

March 15, 2013 @ The Jr, Austin, TX

Today is the Day
Pallbearer (also playing the official IO/BV showcase)
KEN Mode
Royal Thunder
Inter Arma
Batillus
Baptists

The show is 100% FREE and we'll have FREE Invisible Oranges shirts and Jameson while it lasts for the first people to walk through the door.

there are Daft Punk posters showing up in Austin and reports of people seeing them there. There's a rumor that they're playing on Wednesday at the capital steps.

I really don't think they would actually play at the capitol if they do play. Not a chance they would let hordes of people fuck up the lawn of the capitol building.

Prince is playing at La Zona Rosa on Saturday and apparently Trent Reznor and Josh Homme might be sitting in with Dave Grohl's Sound City Players show at Stubbs.

I'm hoping that most people will go to the bigger shows saturday so i can get in to see clutch. Also i'm hoping since its a day show if i get there early everyone will be still waking up from fridays festivites

At Scoot Inn Saturday afternoon? You won't have a problem, esp. if you get there on the early side.
