BIGELF return from hiatus

Apparently it all went to shit, the band broke up, but now Damon Fox (vocals) and Duffy Snowhill (bass) are going to carry on with Mike Portnoy drumming on the new album. No word on a guitarist or a touring drummer yet.

New record deal signed with Inside Out Music. New album due later this year.

Always wondered why they were taking a break after achieving the most success they ever have, but I'm pleased they're back. Saw them four times on the last tour and they were always fantastic.

1/12 Judas Priest
3/12 Deep Purple
5/12 Dan Patlansky
11/12 Dead Daisies

Good to hear! I saw them when they opened for Porcupine Tree and thorougly enjoyed the performance. I ran into Damon in the lobby after PT's set and got to talk with him for a while. I looked for tour dates but could never find anything. I honestly didn't even realize they were on hiatus, and I agree that it didn't make sense to split after they were getitng some attention.
